Accountant
Job Summary:
This team member will: perform professional accounting work, including auditing,
analyzing and verifying fiscal records and reports; prepare financial statements
and statistical reports, including budgets, bank reconciliations and other
related documents; provide technical advice and counsel to entry-level
accounting personnel; and other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualified
candidates possess: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting
and/or a minimum of five (5) years of nonprofit accounting; extensive
background in planning, budgeting, bank relations, management systems and
reporting, negotiating, supervision and administration; excellent written and
verbal communication skills; superior people/ relationship-building skills;
excellent organizational, follow-through and attention-to-detail skills; ability
to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to work in stressful
situations; computer literacy, including a working knowledge of Grants
Management System , Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
The Human Development Corporation of Metropolitan St. Louis is a not-for-profit,
501c3 organization whose mission is to provide a range of services that assist
low-income individuals and families to gain skills, knowledge and motivation to
become self-sufficient and revitalize the community. Work hours for this
position are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. weekdays. Employee benefits include health
insurance, life insurance, retirement plan, 11 paid holidays, sick and annual
leave of 13 days per year.

Job Summary:
This team member shall: provide transportation services; ensure that program
participants arrive at their destination safely; comply with transportation
regulations and laws; deliver courteous and consistent customer service; and
other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates possess: a high school diploma or GED; a valid Missouri
Commercial Drivers License; knowledge of transportation regulations and laws;
ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others;
ability to communicate effectively; ability to work in stressful situations;
ability to meet DOT physical health requirements; and the ability to speak
Spanish is preferred.

Nutritionist
Job Summary:
This team member participates in the delivery of nutritional services in the
Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC),
interacts with WIC clients to assess their nutritional status and educates
them.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates possess: a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health Nutrition,
Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, Home Economics or closely related field that
includes or is supplemented with a minimum of 15 semester hours in foods,
nutrition, diet therapy and community nutrition; a minimum of one year related
work experience; excellent organizational, follow-through and
attention-to-detail skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
ability to work in stressful situations; and computer literacy, including a
working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
